What a day we had yesterday at LVC in Valencia! Luna Rossa beat BMW Oracle Racing 5:1 and became the first team in the final of LVC. Emirates Team NZ did not have such a successful day as Italians and were beaten by Desafio Espanol. The present score is 4:2 for Kiwis but the game is not over yet. Tommorow we are going to face another tough match between the Spaniards and Dean Barker's team.
Karol Jablonski, helmsman of Desafio Espanol, was not hiding his happiness:" Today's race will get to the history of Spanish sailing. Victory over Kiwi after the tough fight showed that we are closer than further as summed up Spanish King Juan Carlos. It's 4:2 and we can easly say that whatever happens now Desafio Espanol is a big winner of this event. Nobody gave us a single chance especially in the wind conditions as today. That was one of the best race I sailed in this regatta. The team did an excellent job, grinders were crying after the finish as they gave all they could from theirselves during tacks and maneuvers."

Tommorow we face another semi final match between Karol Jablonski and Dean Barker. Stay tuned with www.matchrace.ch
