The last day of the event started with strong winds 40 knots, the race committee almost decided to close the event when suddenly the wind dropped to moderate 15-20 knots.

During the pre-start Mascalzone went to close to the beach and hocked up on the sand, just I time Jess came back to the start.
Russell take the left and Jess to the right side, tight duel until the windward mark, where the Mascalzone crew struggled with the spinnaker allowing Russell to take the lead and win the event with 3 matches.
Sort but spectacular event, after a hard day of sailing will follow a long deserved party night in Dubai.
